PUMCHLe département d'oncologie médicale de l'hôpital est un projet clé de spécialité clinique construit par le ministère de la Santé. Il compte actuellement 2 professeurs, 5 professeurs associés, 10 médecins traitants et 2 chercheurs. Parmi les 17 médecins, 12 ont un doctorat et 5 un master, formant ainsi une équipe de talents équilibrée.
Actuellement, le département se consacre au diagnostic et au traitement intégré de divers cancers solides, y compris le cancer du sein, le cancer du poumon, les lymphomes, les tumeurs du système digestif (œsophage, estomac, colorectal, pancréas, foie et voies biliaires), les tumeurs du système urogénital (rein, uretère, vessie, prostate), les tumeurs neuroendocrines, les tumeurs de la tête et du cou, les sarcomes des tissus mous, le cancer de la thyroïde et le mélanome. Nous proposons des traitements médicaux tels que la chimiothérapie, la chimiothérapie par perfusion thermique, la thérapie ciblée moléculaire et l'immunothérapie. Nous avons acquis une expérience unique dans le traitement de cas complexes tels que les tumeurs rares, les cancers chez les personnes âgées et les cancers avec comorbidités.
Nous organisons et participons à des groupes de collaboration multidisciplinaire (MDT) pour les tumeurs du pancréas, du système digestif, thoraciques, les tumeurs germinales intracrâniennes, les tumeurs de la tête et du cou et les tumeurs du système urinaire. Le volume annuel de consultations externes est de 32 000 visites, avec plus de 5 000 patients hospitalisés. Le département prend également en charge des missions médicales nationales et municipales telles que la santé des cadres supérieurs et l'assistance médicale en Australie.

Dirigé par des experts en oncologie renommés, il possède une solide expérience en chimiothérapie, thérapies ciblées moléculaires, traitements par inhibiteurs de points de contrôle immunitaire, médicaments conjugués par anticorps (ADC) et essais cliniques de nouveaux médicaments (GCP) dans le domaine des tumeurs gastro-intestinales, du cancer du poumon, du cancer du sein, des tumeurs du système urinaire, des tumeurs neuroendocrines et des mélanomes malins.
Basé sur le séquençage génétique de deuxième génération, nous concevons des plans de traitement sur mesure pour chaque patient atteint de cancer, englobant des thérapies ciblées, immunologiques, chimiothérapeutiques et anti-angiogéniques, tout en mettant l'accent sur la qualité de vie et le double bénéfice de la survie.
