PUMCHDie Abteilung für Radiologie hat ein modernes medizinisches Bildgebungssystem mit umfassenden Arten, fortschrittlicher Ausrüstung und einem gut strukturierten Team entwickelt. Sie gehört seit langem zu den besten in den nationalen Fachrankings der Fudan-Universität und hat in der nationalen Qualitätsbewertung der radiologischen Bildgebung hervorragende Ergebnisse erzielt. Die Abteilung ist eine der frühesten in China, die verschiedene radiologische Diagnose- und Behandlungstechniken eingeführt hat und hat bedeutende Beiträge zur Entwicklung der Radiologie und zur Ausbildung von Fachkräften in diesem Bereich geleistet.
Die Abteilung verfügt über eine vollständige und hochqualifizierte technische Teamstruktur, die Diagnosegruppen, Interventionsteams, technische Gruppen, Pflegegruppen und Forschungsteams für künstliche Intelligenz umfasst. Über 80% der Ärzte in der Abteilung haben einen Master-Abschluss oder höher.
Die Abteilung hat zahlreiche hochmoderne Bildgebungsgeräte, darunter 6 Dual-Source-CTs, 1 640-Schicht-CT, 1 256-Schicht-CT, 1 Spektral-CT, 1 64-Zeilen-Spiral-CT, 2 16-Zeilen-Spiral-CTs, 10 MRT-Geräte (3T und 1.5T), 7 digitale Subtraktionsangiographiegeräte, 4 volldigitale gastrointestinale Bildgebungsgeräte, 3 volldigitale Mammographiegeräte, 2 Dual-Energy-Röntgen-Densitometer und weitere 40 Geräte wie CR, DR und Laserkameras. Das PACS-System der Abteilung ist vollständig implementiert und ermöglicht digitale Diagnosen sowie Bildmanagement, Speicherung und Selbstabholung.
Die Abteilung ist in der klinischen Anwendung von Multislice-CT und hochauflösendem MRT führend in China, insbesondere in der frühen Bilddiagnose von kardiovaskulären Erkrankungen, der frühen bildgebenden Screening von Lungen-, Brust- und Dickdarmkrebs, der frühen Bilddiagnose und präoperativen Beurteilung von Pankreastumoren, der umfassenden Bilddiagnose und postoperativen Bewertung von Hypophysentumoren, der frühen Bilddiagnose und interventionellen Behandlung von akuten ischämischen Schlaganfällen sowie der bildgebenden Forschung zu rheumatischen Erkrankungen und endokrinen metabolischen Knochenerkrankungen.
Die Abteilung hat in den 1980er Jahren als erste in China verschiedene interventionelle Techniken, einschließlich kardiovaskulärer Interventionen, eingeführt und zahlreiche Fachkräfte in diesem Bereich ausgebildet. Derzeit werden interventionelle Techniken für arterielle und venöse Angiographien, perkutanen Eingriffe bei angeborenen Herzfehlern, Stentbehandlungen von Aortenaneurysmen und -dissektionen, Angioplastien der Karotiden und intrakraniellen Gefäße, Embolisationen von arteriovenösen Malformationen und Hirnaneurysmen sowie zahlreiche andere interventionelle Behandlungen durchgeführt.
Die Abteilung übernimmt auch die Lehrverantwortung für Medizinstudenten der achtjährigen Studiengänge der Chinesischen Union Medical University sowie für die Ausbildung von Postgraduierte, Assistenzärzte und Fachärzte. Sie verfügt über moderne Lehr- und Forschungseinrichtungen, einschließlich PACS-Forschungslabors, radiologischer Forschungsräume und Multimedia-Klassenräume. Die Lehrmethoden kombinieren theoretisches Wissen mit klinischem Denken und fördern die bilingualen Kommunikationsfähigkeiten der Studierenden.
Die Abteilung hat zahlreiche nationale und provinziell geförderte Forschungsprojekte durchgeführt und eine Vielzahl von wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten in internationalen und nationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Sie hat auch bedeutende akademische Positionen in verschiedenen medizinischen Gesellschaften inne und beteiligt sich aktiv an der internationalen akademischen Kommunikation.

Die Abteilung für Radiologie gehört zur ersten Liga der nationalen Fachrankings und ist eine der frühesten Radiologieabteilungen Chinas (gegründet 1919). Gegründet von Pionieren wie Hu Maolian und Rong Dushan, vereint sie hochauflösende MRT, hochmoderne Spektral-CT, digitale Subtraktionsangiographie (DSA) und interventionelle minimalinvasive Behandlungen. Die Qualität der Berichterstattung in der Abteilung wird als landesweit anerkannter 'Goldstandard' angesehen.
