PUMCHKhoa Da Liễu của bệnh viện được thành lập vào năm 1924, là một trong những chuyên ngành da liễu đầu tiên tại Trung Quốc. Giám đốc đầu tiên là Tiến sĩ Chester N. Frazier. Sau khi giải phóng, khoa được dẫn dắt bởi một trong những người sáng lập da liễu Trung Quốc, nhà da liễu học nổi tiếng, giáo sư hạng nhất Lý Hồng Kiến. Qua nhiều thế hệ nỗ lực không ngừng, khoa Da Liễu của Bệnh viện Hợp tác đã có những đóng góp nổi bật cho sự phát triển của da liễu tại Trung Quốc.
Năm 2002, khoa trở thành một trong những chuyên ngành trọng điểm quốc gia đầu tiên, là nơi đào tạo cho nghiên cứu sinh, tiến sĩ và thạc sĩ, cũng như là cơ sở lâm sàng quốc gia về dược lý. Dưới sự lãnh đạo của giáo sư Tân Hồng Trung, đội ngũ khoa đã không ngừng mở rộng trong những năm gần đây, đạt được những thành tựu nổi bật trong lĩnh vực y tế, giảng dạy và nghiên cứu, đã phát triển thành một chuyên ngành da liễu lớn với nhiều trung tâm điều trị như bệnh tự miễn mụn nước, bệnh vẩy nến, bệnh lây truyền qua đường tình dục, điều trị thẩm mỹ bằng laser, và chẩn đoán bệnh lý mô da.
Khoa tích cực triển khai nhiều dự án điều trị mới, như chẩn đoán bằng kính hiển vi da, siêu âm da, phẫu thuật Mohs vi phẫu, phẫu thuật vi phẫu mùi hôi nách, và điều trị quang động lực cho bớt đỏ. Trong nhiều năm qua, khoa duy trì truyền thống tốt đẹp với việc kiểm tra hàng tuần của giám đốc khoa và thảo luận các trường hợp khó khăn, cung cấp chẩn đoán và điều trị hiệu quả, chính xác cho bệnh nhân nặng từ khắp nơi trên cả nước.
