PUMCHتأسس قسم جراحة التجميل في المستشفى عام 1952 تحت إدارة البروفيسور سونغ رويياو. في عام 1957، انفصل القسم عن مستشفى تشيخه، ومر بتوسعات، انتقالات، وحل. في أواخر الستينيات، تم استعادة القسم تحت قيادة البروفيسور سونغ رويياو. في عام 1979، انفصل مرة أخرى عن مستشفى تشيخه، وتم توسيعه ليصبح مستشفى لجراحة التجميل. لتعزيز التوافق مع المعايير الدولية، وتحسين القوة الشاملة، تم استعادة القسم مرة أخرى في عام 2003. حالياً، هو وحدة تابعة للجمعية الطبية الصينية لجراحة التجميل، ولجنة إعادة التأهيل الطبية الصينية.
منذ تأسيس قسم جراحة التجميل في المستشفى عام 1952، استمر في التطور ليصبح مركزاً متقدماً في التكنولوجيا، مع وجود تخصصات شاملة، يجمع بين الرعاية الطبية، التعليم، والبحث. يمتلك القسم موارد بشرية قوية، معدات، ومزايا التعاون بين التخصصات، ولديه علاقات وثيقة مع المجتمع المحلي والدولي في مجال جراحة التجميل. كما أنه نقطة منح درجات الماجستير والدكتوراه في جراحة التجميل في جامعة تشيخه الطبية، مع وجود 7 مشرفين على دراسات الدكتوراه والماجستير، و17 دكتوراً في الطب، و2 ماجستير، وأكثر من 10 طلاب دراسات عليا.
قام القسم بتأليف العديد من المؤلفات مثل "جراحة التجميل"، "جراحة التجميل العملية"، "دليل جراحة التجميل"، "معايير التشخيص والعلاج في جراحة التجميل"، وكتب علمية شعبية مثل "دليل جراحة التجميل" و"سلسلة جراحة التجميل". كما يمتلك القسم معدات متقدمة مثل أجهزة الموجات فوق الصوتية متعددة الوظائف، المناظير، الليزر، وأجهزة العلاج بالإشعاع الإيجابي.
يشمل نطاق علاج قسم جراحة التجميل جميع مجالات جراحة الترميم والتجميل، حيث يتم استخدام طرق علاج معترف بها دولياً على أنها آمنة وفعالة.
يضع قسم جراحة التجميل المريض في المركز، ويقدم خدمات عالية الجودة على مدار 24 ساعة. يحتوي كل من المستشفى الشرقي والغربي على عيادات وغرف عمليات مريحة، مع بيئة طبية أنيقة وهادئة؛ تقع غرف المرضى في المستشفى الشرقي، وتحتوي على غرف بمواصفات مختلفة وأكثر من ثلاثين سريراً لتلبية احتياجات جميع الفئات. جميع أعضاء الفريق الطبي في قسم جراحة التجميل مستعدون لمساعدة المرضى في إعادة تشكيل صورتهم المثالية، واستعادة ثقتهم في الحياة، والعودة إلى عالمهم المشرق!
